Role Overview

The VP of Finance will be a key, hands-on leader guiding financial strategy while enabling business growth at scale. This role will oversee all financial operations and serve as a critical business partner to the executive team.

Once here, you will

• Develop and execute a financial strategy aligned with the company's mission and growth objectives

• Lead investor relations and due diligence processes

• Build scalable financial systems and processes that can accommodate rapid growth

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the organization

• Provide strategic guidance on unit economics, growth investments, and capital allocation

• Manage relationships with investors, financial institutions and partners 

• Direct the accounting, treasury, and financial reporting functions

• Lead financial risk management in collaboration with compliance initiatives

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on business operations and growth opportunities

What we are looking for

• 8+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 2 years in a senior finance role at a high-growth startup

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred

• Experience scaling finance organizations and operations through different growth stages

• Experience building financial systems, processes, and teams from the ground up

• Proven track record of investor relations management

• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate financial insights into business decisions

• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial information to diverse audiences

• Corporate development experience is a plus
