WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• You advise and support our clients on all matters of data protection—combining your expertise with the smart use of our AI-powered platform to deliver scalable, high-quality outcomes

• You continuously educate clients on evolving data protection requirements, using automation and tailored insights to keep all stakeholders informed and ahead of regulatory changes

• You recommend and implement the right compliance measures, guiding clients to use the DataGuard platform as their central hub for data protection and risk management

• You design and roll out data protection policies, procedures, and controls that are not just compliant, but efficient and sustainable—enabled by smart tooling

• You conduct data protection impact assessments and risk assessments, using automation to enhance accuracy, speed, and transparency for clients’ processing activities

• You enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with others, acting as a mentor and role model to help grow the next generation of privacy professionals

• You contribute to the ongoing development of our platform and services, bringing feedback from the field and collaborating across teams to deliver real innovation and value to our clients

THE QUALITIES YOU'LL NEED FOR A SUCCESSFUL CAREER AT DATAGUARD

• Professional and customer-focused, with a collaborative and proactive mindset

• Strong knowledge of UK and EU GDPR, and the Data Protection Act

• 3–5 years’ hands-on experience advising on data protection and compliance, ideally in tech-enabled or AI-supported environments

• Confident communicator with the ability to simplify complex topics and explain AI-driven processes

• Certified Data Protection Officer (CIPP/E and/or CIPM preferred)

• Legal (e.g. business law) or technical (e.g. IT, information security) academic background

• Comfortable working with AI tools and platforms to enhance efficiency and compliance delivery

• Independent, hands-on, and open to learning, innovation, and continuous improvement
