Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Education changes lives.

But tech hasn’t lived up to its promise—yet. At Kognity, we’re here to change that.

We blend smart pedagogy with cutting-edge tech to create powerful, engaging learning experiences. Every student, everywhere, deserves the tools to succeed—no matter their background. We're on a mission to make that happen.

Why Kognity is the place to be

  • Educational Innovation – Build AI-first media solutions that make learning measurably better.

  • Global Reach – Our platform supports educators and learners in over 120 countries.

  • Collaborative Culture – Work with brilliant, kind people who care deeply about what they do.

  • Real Growth – From personal development to career progression, we’ve got your back.

What you’ll do

  • Lead Kognity’s AI-first media strategy and define how cutting-edge tools and workflows shape the future of educational content.

  • Build and develop a high-performing, future-ready in-house media team with deep expertise in AI, animation, interactive content, and video.

  • Ensure pedagogical excellence and consistency across all media by setting high standards, applying user insights, and shaping our media styles and governance.

  • Oversee tools and systems—including DAM, tagging, and retrieval processes—to enable scalable, efficient media production across teams and suppliers.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in a leadership role overseeing in-house media functions, with a proven ability to build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams in fast-paced, content-driven environments.

  • Deep understanding of generative AI in media—across tools like Runway, Midjourney, Sora, and ElevenLabs—and how to leverage them to drive innovation and efficiency.

  • Strong technical acumen and strategic thinking, with experience designing scalable production workflows, balancing internal vs. external media creation, and managing asset libraries and DAM systems.

  • A user- and pedagogy-centred mindset combined with clear communication, insight-led decision making, and a bias for continuous improvement.

  • A collaborative, adaptable leader who can align stakeholders, evolve org design, and embed quality media practices across the business.
