Sr Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working within a data team to modernize legacy ETL jobs utilizing AWS technologies and DataVault 2.0
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Translate complex business processes into clear, testable data requirements
  • Partner with ETL and BI developers to ensure data solutions meet business needs.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Support backlog grooming and prioritization in collaboration with the Product Owner.
  • Contribute to data quality, governance, and observability efforts.
  • Facilitate demos and feedback loops with stakeholders.
  • Manage incidents and incoming enhancement requests.
  • Support investigation, analysis, and response to incidents.
  • Ensure high quality of development and solution before product increment release.

    • REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Marketing, or Commerce and 4-6 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with AWS (Glue/Redshift) mandatory.
  • Exposure to data tools such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI.
  • Experience working in Agile teams, ideally in a data or analytics context.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; familiarity with tools like JIRA is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
