Job Description

Your Career As a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer Testing in Cortex Platform, you play a key role in providing detailed technical information to our internal employees. You will work with innovative technology, redefining the future of cybersecurity. In this role, you'll help our product teams build the product and align it with market demand and also develop and deliver technical training for systems engineers. You are a self-starter, excited to learn and experiment with new technologies. You work well independently and excel at identifying the potential sales needs of our clients and shaping the direction of the company's products as a result. You aren't afraid of ambiguity - instead, you like the challenge of defining new products as they come to market. Your Impact

  • Collaborate with sales, product management, research, and additional teams to promote and bring innovation to the security space via the Cortex Platform
  • Conduct internal tests, document results and lead discussions with stakeholders
  • Coordinate and lead ambitious projects in a multi-functional capacity with other teams
  • Build, update, upgrade, maintain and document highly technical lab testing environments
  • Write and create high-quality and highly technical collateral, presentations and competitive analysis
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and make sure deadlines are met
  • Attend trade shows to educate employees and partners on core product differences and advantages
  • Work closely with the Product Management organization and provide product feedback for future development
  • Be a Subject Matter expert on the Cortex Platform and support the field bringing new technical relevant competitive content

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • At least 5 years of EDR hands on experience, including:
  • Deep understanding of how EPP / EDR / XDR work
  • Hands-on experience in OS forensics [Windows, Linux, MacOS]
  • Deep level knowledge in Windows / Linux / macOS OSes
  • Hands-on experience with Exploits / Malware analysis and offensive tools
  • Competitive landscape awareness
  • At least 2 years
  • Hands on experience running and maintaining lab infrastructure and tests
  • Experience on Documenting testing/outcomes
  • Building and improving testing frameworks
  • 3 years of technical Hands on Experience on at least 3 of the following categories:
  • UEBA
  • NDR
  • SIEM
  • ITDR
  • EASM
  • Exposure Management
  • NG Firewalls
  • Understanding of SOC workflows & incident response process
  • Experience Building gap analysis among solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills with strong presentation abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to reinvent yourself, learn and keep up with new technologies
  • Competitive intelligence experience is a plus
  • Experience with SIEM/UEBA deployments / management is a plus

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $159000/YR - $255000/YR.
