Operations Research Analyst, SeniorThe Opportunity:As an Operations Analyst, you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need an experienced Research Analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. As a leader on our multi-disciplinary team of analysts and data scientists, you’ll lead teams to evaluate data assessment strategies and apply techniques, such as optimization, simulation, machine learning, statistical analysis, and multi-objective decision analysis to deliver solutions and inform senior Department of Defense (DoD) leadership decisions.You won’t go at it alone, you’ll work with the team to conduct research, prepare graphs and charts, and analyze and interpret programmatic and cost data. Once documented, you’ll develop program briefs, documentation, and presentations to present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings to improve program efficiency and inform senior DoD leadership decisions.In this role, you’ll use your passion for analytics and statistics to devise modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines.Use your operations research knowledge to develop technologies and concepts that help transform and advance DoD's missions. The world can’t wait.You Have: 7+ years of experience in operations research or data science3+ years of experience applying analytical methodologies, including statistics, optimization, machine learning, and predictive analytics2+ years of experience in the design of experiments or test and evaluationExperience with R and Python Ability to analyze large, complex data sets and develop mathematical models to support client problemsSecret clearanceMaster’s degreeClearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
