Engineer Project Manager, Aviation/Airfield Design

Woolpert is seeking an Engineer Project Manager to lead and manage aviation and airfield design projects. The role involves overseeing the preparation of technical documents, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed within scope, schedule, and budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 10+ years of proven experience in project management for aviation and airfield design projects
• Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circulars and federal aviation regulations is a plus
• Proficiency in AutoDesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering software
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to read, interpret, and apply scientific, technical, and financial documents
• Ability to effectively respond to sensitive client inquiries and manage relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders
• Ability to sit for extended periods
• Occasionally required to reach, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds
• This position requires occasional travel for site visits and client meetings
