United States, New York, New York TechOps... 04-Oct-2024 Ref #: 26170 How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Maintenance Utility Worker operates forklifts and stock chasers to assist Line Maintenance by transporting all parts going to the various shops for rework and cleaning. The position is also responsible for monitoring outgoing shelves that may contain AOGs and other hot parts that need to be taken to stores/Logistics or shipped for outside repair. Aside from part transportation, this MUE is also responsible for collecting empty boxes, pallets and other miscellaneous items to keep Maintenance and its halls clear of debris. Summary Of Responsibilities (not Comprehensive Of All Tasks) • Processes and distributes all Kanban, Shop route, Expedite and AOGs. • Transports parts routed to rework using a Forklift and Motorized cart. • Monitors outgoing shelves for hot parts such as AOGs. • Removes empty boxes, Pallets and other debris from the hallway. • Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. The minimum starting hourly rate for this position is $21.00 with a potential maximum hourly rate of $21.59. The ability to reach the maximum hourly rate is dependent upon several other offered premiums (Examples would include but not limited to - Airframe and Powerplant license, Shift differential, Station location differential, Line Maintenance differential, Skill differential). What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred Qualifications) • Previous Forklift, Motorized cart experience.
