Job Title: Claims Representative - Collections Specialist (Remote, Temporary) Experience: Must have experience with Lightning Steps Location: Remote Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time Duration: 3-6 months with option to become permanent depending on performance Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Claims Representative - Collections Specialist for a temporary remote position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving outstanding claims, coordinating with clients and insurance companies, and ensuring timely collection of payments. This role is essential for maintaining financial stability and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: • Review and process insurance claims for accuracy and completeness. • Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to resolve claim discrepancies. • Follow up on outstanding claims and ensure timely collection of payments. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claim status and payment history. • Analyze and interpret insurance policies and regulations to determine coverage and liability. • Collaborate with internal departments to address and resolve claim-related issues. • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to management. • Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and industry best practices. Qualifications: • Proven experience in claims processing, collections, or a related field. • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management software. • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in insurance or finance is a plus.
