Skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs Experience with accounts payable (AP) and journal entries (JE) Familiarity with working with different currencies is a plus Excellent organizational and time management skills Responsibilities Support monthly closing activities Maintain accurate financial records Prepare and review financial statements Assist with accounts payable and journal entries Qualifications Proven experience (3+ years) in an accounting role with a focus on month-end close Ability to manage your schedule effectively with only 2 weeks of work per month Commitment to start in October and adhere to the assignment duration No planned vacations from October to February Education Requirements Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Education Requirements Credential Category Accounting or Finance Degree Experience Requirements 3+ years of experience in an accounting role assisting with month-end close Strong experience with accounts payable and journal entries Experience with different currencies (if applicable) Why work in Walnut Creek, CA Walnut Creek offers a beautiful suburban environment with a vibrant community and access to a variety of outdoor activities.
