Key Responsibilities: ? * Review and process medication prior authorization requests according to established guidelines and policies. ? * Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to obtain necessary information for approvals. ? * Verify patient eligibility and coverage for prescribed medications. ? * Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. ? * Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service. ? * Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy operations. ? * Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in medication guidelines. ? Required Skills and Qualifications: ? * High school diploma or equivalent. ? * Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential (preferred). ? * Strong understanding of medical terminology. ? * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. ? * Proficiency in using computer systems and data entry. ? * Ability to work independently and in a remote environment. ? * Detail-oriented and highly organized. ? * Previous experience in pharmacy operations is a plus. ?
