Take the first step towards a bright and fulfilling career by applying to join our Kroger family today, no matter your previous work background Qualification: • Despite being an equivalent credential, some employers and universities may prefer applicants with a traditional high school diploma • Individuals who are not yet 18 are ineligible for this program • The capability to work with confidential information responsibly and maintain its privacy is a critical attribute needed in today's workplace Desired: • Any previous comparable experience • Have you dealt with inventory management within a retail operation before? • Adept at managing customer inquiries by phone, email, or chat, delivering prompt and precise resolutions, and exceeding expectations for customer service • Follow the company's procedures and HIPAA mandates when sharing patient information externally or internally • Give top-quality customer service while performing all mandatory actions for releasing products to patients and supplying them with products, where appropriate in accordance with state regulations • Follow the company's standard operating procedures when using the cash register, and strictly follow all cashier handling guidelines to prevent financial losses. These guidelines include managing electronic fund transactions such as Credit/Debit Cards, EBT, and Gift Cards, in addition to cash and check payments • Follow the procedures for accepting and tendering vendor coupons, constraints on insufficient cash, and company shrinkage policies • Providing incentives such as discounts, free gifts, or memberships can also help encourage customers to take advantage of our sales and services • Offer assistance during phone calls by using a systematic triage system and giving competent responses • Regular auditing of the overall inventory control system can help to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, providing timely solutions and ensuring that the system remains effective • Follow the company's guidelines for using the computerized inventory management system to control the ordering, storage, and distribution of over-the-counter medications • Comply with the rules and regulations of the department by ensuring that work stations and customer waiting areas are clean and properly arranged • Making small gestures such as offering a complimentary drink or a thank you note can create a lasting impression on customers • Observe and enforce all hygiene and safety policies and regulations as prescribed by the company, state, federal, and local health code regulations. Be vigilant and identify any hazardous condition and inform store management promptly • Conform to the stipulations of the law at all three tiers of government, and reveal any unlawful activities, such as embezzlement, breach of trust or robbery, to the appropriate authorities • The potential employee should be able to perform the critical responsibilities of the job, regardless of whether reasonable adjustments are provided or not Apply Job!
