Join the team at Netflix as a Software Developer In Test - iOS Player and play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless streaming experience of our iOS app. As a member of our dynamic engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented group of individuals to continuously improve our video playback capabilities. We are looking for someone who is passionate about software testing and has a strong background in iOS development. If you are a problem-solver, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you! Develop and maintain automated tests for the Netflix iOS app's video playback capabilities. Collaborate with a team of engineers to continuously improve the quality and reliability of the iOS app. Conduct thorough testing of new features and bug fixes to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements. Identify and report defects and work with the development team to resolve them. Utilize your strong knowledge of iOS development to understand the code and provide valuable input on testability and design. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code changes to ensure high-quality code is being delivered. Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and techniques to continuously improve the testing process. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product and design, to understand requirements and ensure the best user experience. Take ownership of the testing process and be responsible for the overall quality of the iOS app. Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner. Proactively identify areas for improvement in the testing process and implement solutions. Mentor and train other team members on testing best practices and techniques. Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software. Adapt quickly to new technologies and tools as needed.
