Cecil College is centrally located in Maryland?s most northeastern county, just one half mile from Interstate 95. It is easily accessible from Philadelphia and Baltimore, as well as from Wilmington, Delaware. With a diverse student population, Cecil College enrolls approximately 2,500 credit students and 3,400 non-credit students. Cecil offers associate degrees, certificate programs and non-credit classes. Cecil offers a variety of associate degree and certificate programs. Tutor may work virtual and/or face to face. Specific Duties: Establish tutoring hours and post on Blackboard Meet with students in a one to one or group format Record subject and hours tutored each week Communicate with course instructor if there are particular student needs Requirements: Education: Must be enrolled or successfully completed the course(s) they are tutoring. Qualifications: Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Current knowledge and skill in the use of information and computer technology (e.g., word processing, e-mail, database) or proven ability to learn these skills. Able to work with students with special needs based on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
