Job title: Online Instructor - Humanities Company: State of Louisiana Job description : Supplemental Information Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) seeks to fill the position of Online Instructor - Humanities is located in the Division of Liberal Arts. This is a part-time position, and is open for recruitment. Qualifications Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in a humanities discipline (art, English/literature, music, theatre, philosophy, or humanities) or Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in a humanities discipline, or master's degree in any discipline with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of humanities disciplines. Preferred Qualifications: Previous Online Teaching experience. Job Concepts Adjunct Faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned. Adjunct Faculty may teach in the evening, weekends, online and dual enrollment courses as needed. Adjunct Faculty are expected to support the institution's mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. Adjunct Faculty are expected to maintain currency in their teaching discipline Adjunct faculty report directly to the academic program manager and/or department chair within their respective departments and divisions.
