Now Hiring: Remote Speech-Language Pathologist VocoVision is on the lookout for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote support to a school district in the Chicago, IL area for the rest of the 2024-2025 academic year. Candidates should have prior experience in educational settings. While you can be based outside Illinois, it’s essential to hold licenses in both your home... state and Illinois. Key Information: • Positions Available: 2 (Full-time or Part-time) • Student Age Groups: Elementary and High School, with some homebound cases • Work Format: Virtual learning environment • Onboarding: Compensation will be provided for orientation • Employment Type: Independent contractor with hourly pay; payments issued weekly • Insurance Requirement: Professional liability coverage must be secured upon hiring Core Responsibilities: • Conduct remote assessments and therapy for students with communication disorders. • Develop personalized intervention plans and collaborate effectively with school personnel. Required Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a school setting. • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for Illinois. • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). • Must keep state clearances up to date.
