Company: TPAPT Chapter, Denver, CO Subjects: Study Skills & Math Classification: Part time employee (W2) Compensation: $33-$43/hr commensurate Location: Local Learning Center From the Posting Chatper: Do you have experience working one-on-one and with diverse or neurodivergent students? Do you have experience working with students but work like to work ? Are you someone who loves to help people find tools to plan, prioritize, organize, manage time, and self-advocate? We are hiring a part-time executive functioning/neurodivergent coach to help guide middle and high school students with neurodivergence and executive functioning deficits. Coaches work 1-on-1 to support students and teach them to strengthen executive function, life management, and emotional regulation skills, and self-advocacy. This support also includes updating parents on progress and supporting parents developing new skills and strategies to facilitate their child's development and success. We also work with students in many other capacities, so this position has the potential to grow into other areas of the business (academic support, college counseling, essay coaching, test prep). This position is part-time (10 - 25 hours per week). You will have control over your schedule. During the school year most sessions take place between 2:30 and 8:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and on Weekends. Sessions take place remotely (via Zoom) or at one of our offices (Lakewood, DTC, Denver City Park). All candidates will complete a thorough paid training before working with students. The Details: Provide in-person academic coaching and Math subject tutoring to students in grades 9-12 Tutoring assignments are typically 60-90 minutes Tutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 2pm and 9pm MT during the week and between 10am - 4pm on weekend days To : Submit a resume which highlights the subjects you tutor and the length of time you have been tutoring (or teaching) in a paid capacity. Requirements Demonstrable ability to tutor Math 15-20 hours per week of availability Earned Bachelor's Degree Exceptional communication skills A passion for helping others learn Experience working with students who are diverse learners and are seeking the skills and tools to help them, plan, prioritize, organize, manage time, and self-advocate in school/life Experience academically supporting students with learning differences/challenges (ADHD, Dyslexia, Executive Functioning deficits, etc.) Background in tutoring or teaching executive functioning, test prep, math, reading, or writing Proven ability to personalize instruction to individual student?s learning styles Benefits $33-$43/hr. commensurate PTO Plan A thorough, paid training which includes a Cognitive Coaching Certification Work with a supportive and inspiring team Expected salary : Location : Denver, CO Apply Job!
