Retail Sales Specialist Purpose... The Sales Associates at Floor & Decor are essential to the company's success as they provide excellent customer service to customers seeking products for their projects. There are openings for both full-time and part-time positions. Attributes we seek: • Friendly and enthusiastic • Entrepreneurial and hard-working • Honest and accountable • Strong abilities to communicate and actively listen Essential Job Functions: • Connect with clients, ask about their plans, suggest merchandise, and generate enthusiasm for transactions. • Deliver unparalleled customer service by exceeding customer expectations. • Ensure that the assigned sections are well-stocked, kept hygienic, and secure for customers to browse. • Work in partnership with managers and colleagues to meet sales goals. • Utilize the point-of-sale (POS) system to complete customer transactions. • Adhere to established protocols when processing customer returns and exchanges. • Stick to the established protocols for accepting payment through cash, checks, and credit cards. • Generate labels and promotional displays, manage inventory, label and present merchandise. • Follow the fundamental principles that define the company's ethos. • Exhibit and guarantee adherence to organizational safety procedures. • Adhere to the company's protocol while answering and handling phone calls. • Provide additional support in various store departments as required. • Excel in a fast-moving setting while maintaining precision. Minimum Eligibility Requirements: • Only individuals who have reached the age of 18 or above are eligible. • Mastery of fundamental mathematical concepts is a critical requirement for students in all academic disciplines. • Experience in serving customers previously. • Being capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and excelling under stressful situations. • Forklift certification via F&D may be a requirement for certain job positions. • In some states, heavy equipment certification mandates a drug test clearance according to the law. Physical/Sensory Requirements: • The capacity to apply a force ranging from 30 to 60 pounds occasionally or 20 to 30 pounds frequently is necessary for lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or moving objects. • Regularly utilize hands and fingers to touch or manipulate items. • Consistent engagement in activities that involve extended periods of standing, walking, using hand and arm movements for reaching, climbing, and balancing.
