POSITION TITLE: Part-time Database Researcher & Customer Service Representative (20 hours per week; WFH) • While this is a remote work-from-home position, applicants must be based in the state of Maine ... We support sustainable, community-based transportation by leading a national transportation network grounded in research, policy analysis and education. Position Summary ITNAmerica has an immediate opening for a remote, part-time (20 hours per week) Database Researcher/Customer Service Representative. In this position you will perform two primary tasks: 1) Research: maintain ITNAmerica's proprietary "Rides in Sight" database of transportation options; and 2) Customer Service: answer inbound inquiries from seniors wanting to learn about local transportation options. This is the perfect part-time job for anyone interested in the nonprofit field as a career, for college students finishing a degree, and for stay at home parents or recent retirees looking to earn extra income while working from home. Direct experience working with seniors—professionally or personally—is a big plus! This job offers a flexible work schedule, rewarding work, and opportunities for growth. Responsibilities • Answer telephone calls from older adults on ITNAmerica's Rides in Sight hotline, helping connect them with the best transportation options to meet their needs. • Maintain the Rides in Sight database by performing internet research and database maintenance. • Accept other related duties and tasks as required Qualifications • Strong verbal communication skills • Comfortable speaking over the telephone and a positive and professional telephone etiquette • Highly organized and attentive to detail • Ability to concentrate on one task for several hours at a time • Collaborative work style • Nonprofit experience preferred but not required Salary and Benefits This job pays $16.50 per hour.
