Key Responsibilities: • Ensuring road safety for all through the careful operation of semi-trucks. • Verify vehicle performance by conducting inspections both before and after trips. • Construct efficient transportation schedules to ensure timely deliveries at designated destinations. • Adhere to industry-recommended procedures for securing cargo to decrease potential risks and maintain the safety of the shipment. • Sustain consistent and transparent communication with all stakeholders to secure precise and prompt deliveries. • Optimize productivity and efficiency by maintaining detailed logs of work hours and vehicle maintenance checks. • Adhere strictly to safety measures and regulations established by the Department of Transportation (DOT). • Timely reporting of vehicle concerns, accidents, or violations is essential for upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance. Qualifications: • Possession of a legitimate Class A commercial driver’s license. • Clean driving record. • Comply with the regulations for passing a DOT physical check-up and drug screening. • Extensive awareness of safety protocols and DOT regulations. • Displays impressive time management and organizational capabilities. • Well-versed in the logistics of heavy equipment and machinery transportation and handling. • Exceptional abilities in communication and a strong customer-oriented mindset. • Ensuring safety and regulatory compliance by promptly notifying relevant parties of vehicle concerns and accidents.
