This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for storytelling. We offer the opportunity to work with authors of books across a wide variety of subject matters. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience, a familiarity with media, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: • Pitch traditional and online media, securing features, reviews, interviews, and event opportunities for books across various genres. • Craft compelling press materials, including press releases, pitch letters, and media kits. • Coordinate author events, and virtual appearances. • Provide detailed reports to clients. • Mail review copies to media contacts. Qualifications: • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to think creatively and strategically under tight deadlines. • Familiarity with media outlets. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work on multiple campaigns simultaneously. • This position is a hybrid role based in our New York City office (in-office 2 days per week).
