Roles and Duties: • Respect and observe all safety regulations and policies to foster a safe and secure working environment for everyone. • Acquire the necessary skills needed to work in a high-volume warehouse by attending safety training sessions. • Perform various activities such as packing, loading, and shipping goods to support the distribution of items to stores and customers. • Maintain the accuracy of product processing to ensure successful delivery to our stores and customers. • Keep safety, swiftness, and efficiency at the forefront of handling freight and moving inventory during warehouse activities. • A clean and tidy work area is an essential component of maintaining a professional and competent work image. • Being punctual at work and carrying out assigned tasks with precision and timeliness are essential for job performance. • To sustain continuous improvement, it's essential to monitor and measure progress over time. This can involve tracking key metrics related to process improvements and identifying areas for ongoing refinement • Sustains a genial and cooperative attitude when working on tasks alone or with fellow team members. Requirements: • Possesses the strength and endurance to frequently lift and transport items ranging from 35-50 pounds during a work shift. • Can move and transport items weighing up to 60 pounds occasionally during their work shift. • Carry out work duties that demand regular standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching actions. • A positive and respectful approach is crucial to succeeding in both solo projects and team efforts. • Possessing a sound understanding of rudimentary mathematical skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction. • Proficient in reading and understanding product information on labels, tickets, and documentation. • After undergoing training, one can competently use computer systems and handheld devices without much supervision. • A significant component of having strong communication skills is the ability to articulate effectively and accurately • The ability to comprehend and follow safety procedures, practices, and instructions necessitates adequate proficiency in reading, speaking, and comprehending the English language. Additional Requirements: • Knowledgeable about the safe use of all powered equipment, such as Scissor Lift, Pallet Rider, Sit Down & Standup Forklift, and can work at heights of up to 40ft as required. • Engage in work activities that entail being stationed on a mezzanine level, reaching a height of up to 40 ft, wherever relevant • Capable of performing duties in temperature-controlled settings, including refrigeration and freezing units, throughout the workday.
