Authentication Specialists Needed: This position is NOT working as a transcriptionist. Please visit our transcriptionists job posting if you are interested in applying to be a transcriptionist. With the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the increase of clients using AI as an alternative approach to human transcription, clients are finding that, while AI is more cost effective, it is not as accurate as humans and they now require us to refine and correct these AI produced transcripts. As an Authentication Specialist, you will meticulously review each transcript, listening and comparing it word-for-word to the original audio and/or video content, ensuring the transcript adheres to client guidelines. As an Authentication Specialist you will also: 1) Review a transcript to make sure itÂs as accurate as a human can make it. 2) Listen to a transcript word-for-word, and verify that what is transcribed is: o What was spoken o Conforms to client guidelines regarding verbatimness and style § i.e., are the false starts handled the way they should be? If prompts are to be excluded, are exclamations from the interviewer that ARE NOT prompts included correctly? 3) Accurately research unfamiliar terminology 4) Check all: o Guesses and inaudibles o Speaker attribution o Spelling o Grammar o Punctuation o Format o Words that were transcribed incorrectly o Any other content that requires us to clean up It really is a detail-oriented forensic approach to ensure that everything is correct in the transcript to become that much closer to 100% accurate. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  This project is a contract position through June 30, 2025.  *Our specialists are paid $60/per audio hour.
