About the position Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager (PM) to join the Sales Strategy & Operations team. In this pivotal role, Senior Program Managers will lead strategic initiatives, engage with partners, and drive new project developments aimed at fostering business growth. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment, collaborating with highly entrepreneurial colleagues in a setting that resembles a startup more than a traditional corporate structure. The responsibilities of the Senior Program Manager include ideating solutions to address key customer problems by developing innovative approaches and testing them through 'proof of concept' methodologies. Successful solutions will be scaled up for broader implementation. Establishing strong relationships with internal business stakeholders is crucial, as is building a comprehensive understanding of the strategic business direction, requirements, and priorities. Additionally, the Senior Program Manager will develop growth strategies to meet ambitious objectives for their category, build collaborative partnerships with external stakeholders, and ensure a superior seller experience. The role also involves driving automation and feature development in collaboration with tech and product teams, as well as working with business and finance leaders to identify cost savings and promote long-term sustainable growth. Regular business reviews will be prepared and conducted with stakeholders to assess seller performance, explore future opportunities, and address challenges. Responsibilities • Ideate solutions to solve key customer problems by developing innovative solutions and test through 'proof of concept' approaches , • Develop full scale solutions for solutions that prove successful well in the testing phase , • Establish strong partner relationships with internal business stakeholders, building a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements and priorities , • Develop growth strategies to deliver against ambitious objectives for the category , • Build collaborative partnerships with external stakeholders and drive the right business inputs while delivering above par seller experience , • Drive automation and feature development for the program working closely with tech/product teams , • Work with business and finance leaders to identify and drive cost savings and long-term sustainable growth , • Prepare and hold business reviews with stakeholders to review seller performance, future opportunities, and/or challenges.
