Remote Special Ed Teacher in South Carolina Are you a certified SPED teacher looking for additional flexibility in your schedule? VocoVision is working with schools to schedule interviews for a fully remote special education teacher. With VocoVision, you will be treated as an independent 1099 contractor, meaning you’ll have flexibility in your personal schedule and finances to provide remote services. Whether it’s lightening your commute, focusing on family, or any other reason, please see below for additional details. Position Details • Contract: 1099 independent contracting structure • Hours: Full-time hours (35-40 hours), including indirect time • Platform: We work with Zoom Plus application (HIPAA/FERPA compliant) • Rate: $28-35/hour, depending on experience Start and End Dates: ASAP to End of School Year • We can also look for opportunities for '25-'26 as well! School Hours: 8:00 to 3:30 PM local time Requirements • Degree: At least a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related degrees (preferred Master's Degree in Special Education) • Certification: South Carolina state certification for Special Education • Experience: Past SPED teaching experience, with remote experience preferred • Set Up: Home computer with camera and microphone functions with strong internet connection, capable of running Zoom or Microsoft Teams Requirements • Provide synchronous online instruction for students with IEPs. • Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed. • Collaborate with onsite staff and faculty to support student needs. • Facilitate in virtual IEP meetings with family and faculty members.
