Actalent Pharmacy Technician (100% Remote) in Columbus, Ohio

If you are interested, please email your resume directly to '[email protected]' for quicker consideration! SUMMARY Actalent is looking for a remote pharmacy technician to do order entry between now and the end of December, 2023. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interpret prescription orders and enter data accurately and timely
• Place outgoing phone calls to patients, doctors and insurance companies to obtain clarification on prescription orders
• Resolve pharmacy issues from members, providers and pharmacies; determine the cause of the issue; select and explain the best solution to solve the issue; expedite correction or adjustment; follow up to ensure resolution
• Proper handling of routine inquiries on multiple products from members, providers, pharmacies, and employer groups
• Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
• Research required information using all available resources
• Maintain record of correspondence; recording details of inquiries, complaints, comments, as well as actions taken
• Utilize multiple company database programs for accessing member information
• Achieve individual performance goals for productivity and quality
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information

QUALIFICATIONS

• MUST be registered in Ohio
• 1+ years of experience
• Order entry experience
