This position will help drive positive customer experiences by building relationships and providing solutions for IT business needs. Perform a variety of IT responsibilities including equipment tracking, monitoring, fulfillment, and troubleshooting.Job ResponsibilitiesPerforms a variety of IT responsibilities to meet business needs. These may include:
  • Provides IT equipment depot services (ordering, tracking inventory, imaging, and shipping).
  • Manages and supports the security and printer systems for each facility, maintaining functionality and knowledge of current processes for working with vendors.
  • Performs diagnostic work on assigned IT equipment to resolve any issues and restore service.
Provides remote and/or on-site Field IT operational support, maintenance, problem-solving, configuration and installation.
  • Views and monitors all support incidents in designated areas of responsibility.
  • Point of Escalation - serves as liaison between users, vendors and technical groups to resolve technical or IT related issues.
  • Executes the Lifecycle Management plans; ensures adherence to asset recovery standards and policies, conducts pilot testing, recommends system or process enhancements and timely execution of project deliverables.
  • Provides counsel to the business on all IT related issues and initiatives: exchange and share information, business continuity, review of applications and assists with access requirements.
  • Understands the importance of the customer experience when performing diagnostic discoveries, making recommendations, and protecting customer devices both in-person and by phone.
  • Ensures compliance of all Heartland IT standard policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Engages with various departments and functions within the business, as needed, to improve both technical and soft skills through coaching and utilizing development tools.
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience required.
  • Experience in technology field including support services.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of PC and desk side (VOIP, Voicemail, Handhelds, Smartphones and iPads).
  • Excellent customer services skills: ability to explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and fosters understanding.
  • Ability to use the Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong communication, time management, and client management skills.
