Salesforce System Admin Intern
About the Position:
This is a paid "Work From Home/Remote" position. Post-internship, there may be an opportunity to continue working with Xtreme Lashes on a part-time or full-time basis.
The Salesforce System Administrator Intern will be responsible for executing projects and tasks that may include potentially cover the following functional areas to support the business: User and access management, User Interface improvements, Sales and Operational reports and dashboards building and data analysis, Database review/manipulation/cleanup, and System Automation enhancements.
Our target audiences are licensed professionals, including cosmetologists, estheticians, massage therapists and managers of salons and spas, as well as consumers who visit professional salons and spas for their hair and skin and beauty treatments, including massages, hair, and facials.
What You’ll Do…
- Work with Management and end users to evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, develop and implement solutions accordingly.
- Lead efforts to investigate, analyze, identify and resolve application issues related to system functionality.
- Lead and participate in system implementation projects (requirements documentation, systems configuration and development, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution).
- Provide system administration, program management and conduct systems analysis on a variety of projects and initiatives in the Salesforce system.
- Provide on-going evaluation and suggestion for Salesforce new features design and development according to business objectives.
- Create and maintain business process flow maps and diagrams to facilitate understanding of business needs and translate to technology solutions.
- Organize and analyze data from the Company’s salesforce.com database bases.
- Analyze sales and operation data by building reports in Salesforce.
- Recognize and report opportunities to management.
- Develop recommendations to various departments based on the above.
- Help users in their daily needs of using the software platform to execute their job duties.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned.
- Other duties may also be assigned.
- Experience as a Salesforce Admin is not required, but experience using Salesforce is preferred. Alternatively, a background in innovation, problem-solving, data management, programming, or web design can be used as a foundation for training.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills.

- Self-starter who is highly motivated and resourceful. Able to work with a positive attitude in a fast-paced and culturally diverse environment.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
