• Demonstrates comprehensive evaluation skills including evaluating the effectiveness of interventions, and modifies plan as appropriate.

• Consults with medical professional, ancillary professionals and other team members/supervisors to provide optimum quality care and effective operations.

• Effectively communicates with family in providing education, strategies and literature in accordance with age, physical condition, developmental level and cultural needs.

• Maintains and completes evaluations, child records, reports and all written documentation effectively and in a timely manner in accordance with regulatory and departmental guidelines.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:Minimum one year documented professional experience with individuals from birth to five years who have developmental delays and disabilities.Required Education:Minimum Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and/or special education.Training/Certifications/Licensure:NJ Dept. of Education Certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities.Coursework in infant and toddler or early childhood development.CPR certificationValid driver's license may be required.
