We are looking for a proactive and motivated OEM Account Manager to oversee and expand an existing portfolio in the Southeastern Michigan region. This role offers the chance to work remotely, providing the flexibility to manage your schedule while engaging with a diverse clientele across various industries including industrial, commercial, manufacturing, biotech, and more.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow an established book of business, driving sales of fluid systems products and services.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular face-to-face meetings and consultations.
- Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities and potential growth areas within the market.
- Serve as a technical expert to clients, providing insights and solutions tailored to their needs.
- 5 - 10 years of experience in commercial sales with a focus on industrial products.
- Demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships with customers through effective communication and consultations.
- Proficient in a consultative sales approach with outstanding presentation skills.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering preferred; other disciplines considered.
- Experience with SAP B1 software is an advantage.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug tests as required for customer site visits.
