Here, you will make an impact by:
- Driving profitable sales for the C&I business in the assigned territory.
- Developing, implementing, and executing effective territory business plans.
- Prioritizing your end customers, markets, and distributors to drive effective territory management.
- Implementing promotions, and directives as set by division management.
- Collaborating across other C&I territories and within other 3M EMD Divisions to meet customer needs.
- Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND three (3) years direct sales and/or electrical construction/industrial experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Associate's degree (completed and verified prior to start) and five (5) years of electrical industry sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Current, valid driver’s license.
- Sales experience in the Electric C&I Market.
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Aptitude to understand and train customers on multiple product lines and applications.
- Field/Channel sales experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to all levels.
- Ability to qualify and prioritize sales opportunities within assigned territory.
- Experience working in a matrix environment or large complex organization.
- Strong computer skills, Database management: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Salesforce.com.
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
- Strong team player, ability to work effectively with peers.
- Remote: Based on assigned Territory: IA & NE
