The objective of our approach is to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.SYSCOM’s client is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Support Services PM) for a long term position for an exciting, remote-based position. Work Location: The position is primarily remote; however, the candidate may be required to attend onsite meetings at the client’s offices in Baton Rouge, LA - approximately once per quarter.Job duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide day-to-day project management support
• Creation of project documentation: daily, weekly, semi-monthly and monthly status reports; project schedules and plans, meeting minutes, risks and issues, other documentation as needed
• Activity and resource planning
• Analyzing project risks and issues, help identify ways to mitigate risks
• Process monitoring
• Monitor project deliverables
• Conduct cost/benefit analysis
• Documentation of specifications and requirements tracking
• Provide on-going evaluation and improvements for processes; work in needed areas to provide support services for client's workload demands

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:

• Ten (10) years of professional project management experience supporting Agile technical projects
• Two (2) years of experience delivering government projects
• Experience presenting information to technical and non‐technical audiences
• Experience identifying and managing risks and issues associated with projects
• Experience analyzing project performance and providing recommendations for improvement
• Familiarity with JIRA
• Experience establishing and fostering relationships with stakeholders
• Candidate must reside within the Continental United States and be able to travel to Baton Rouge, LA for onsite meetings as needed - approximately once per quarter.

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:

• PMI-PMP or equivalent certification
