Job description: Our large SaaS client is looking for a contract Infrastructure Cloud Security Engineer. This role is fully remote but operating on Eastern Standard Time. This is a contract for 4 months with potential to extend or convert to full time.This initiative focuses on evaluating and improving newly implemented Security Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Golden Amazon Machine Image (AMI) pipelines to ensure they adhere to best practices while remaining scalable and flexible. Additionally, there are plans to transition existing Terragrunt and legacy CI/CD workflows from AWS to modernized IaC pipelines utilizing GitHub and GitHub ActionsContract Duration: 3 – 4 MonthsRequired Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in GitHub, GitHub Actions
- Terraform
- Python
- CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience working with AWS and security validation tools.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Amazon Machine Image (AMI) creation processes.
- Experience with Terragrunt for infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of automation best practices within AWS environments.
- Familiarity with compliance-driven security frameworks.
