Come and experience your future!This position is responsible for the development of reliability and Integrated Logistics System (ILS) solutions for aviation training products. These systems include full flight cockpit simulators, desktop trainers, classrooms and augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) systems. Typical tasks include: Analysis of system reliability and sparing requirements, analysis of failure data to identify trends, part obsolescence management, lifecycle cost (LCC) analysis and logistics support analysis.
Several components of our products are produced by subcontractors, so the successful candidate will need to apply their knowledge and expertise to review subcontractor analysis and verify their submissions are accurate and complete.The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills that enable them to manage multiple programs with various analysis need dates. A strong ability to prioritize and logically communicate status and risks are important skills for this position. The selected candidate will have the capacity to multi-task and be willing to learn new skills to broaden their skill set within the Specialty Engineering domain.Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a STEM related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Two or more years of full-time engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience in reliability engineering, logistics engineering, maintainability engineering, sustainment or related field
- Must be able to obtain & maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Reliability, logistics, and/or System Safety experience in a diversity of sophisticated electrical and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-810
- Active DoD clearance
