Medical Assistants prepare patients for visits by collecting medical histories, recording vital signs, prepping for exams, assisting with medical procedures, blood draws, vaccinations, and injections. - High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the American Association of Medical Assistants
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by the American Medical Technologists
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) by the National Health career Association
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCTT) by the National Center for Competency Testing
- Certified Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) by the American Medical Certification Association
- Other MHC approved credentialing organization.
- **If hired/credentialed prior to 3/1/24 will be grandfathered in with prior credentialing body.
