- Oversee the procurement of supplies in AOG situations.
- Lead AOG Expediters in the coordination of the shipment and receipt of materials via the timeliest and most cost-effective manner across the Airline’s operations.
- Ensures all systems are updated in an accurate and timely manner, providing full visibility to all departments about MX bases parts and tooling requirements Sourcing and purchasing of parts from other Airlines, the open market, or from vendors.
- Monitoring Charter services, as well as setting up/monitoring courier services
- Work with the MOC, Stores, and contract maintenance personnel for timely return of any serviceable or unused parts and tooling for road trips.
- Coordinate with several departments while creating/updating/maintaining multiple reports.
- Researching and developing future action plans to continuously reduce the cost and improve the flow of material in the system.
- Attend and conduct meetings with the OEM, other departments, and personnel to ensure that information across all departments and systems are maintained and updated properly.
- Communication of updates to stakeholders
- Ensures Maintenance system is updated with current information from the Open Back-order report, and to communicate our parts requirements/needs.
- Collaborates with the Manager of Planning to ensure that NEF requirements for the Fleet are updated and scheduled according to parts availability.
- Creates and maintains the daily parts requirements spreadsheet to provide all departments with updated information about all Maintenance bases needs for current night.
- Ensures accurate and timely updates are made in MXI, for all Maintenance parts requirements and shipping details.
- Manages the K2 report spreadsheet in SharePoint to ensure that information needed for the Director of Supply Chain Operations has the data needed to compile the weekly reports to the President of PSA and the Director of Maintenance.
- Manages the Outstation Inventory Report to ensure that all parts, tooling, and cores are returned to PSA MX bases to help maintain inventory accountability.
- Developing and implementing work instructions for the AOG Expediters to follow company best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments in creation of databases to provide better visibility and tracking of parts and tooling movement across the system.
- Work with Finance, Billing and Stores departments on any discrepancies that arise.
- Handles scheduling and payroll for team members.
- Leads the weekly Lessons Learned meeting with the AOG Expediter Team members.
- Coordinates with MOC and OCC management to improve responsiveness.
- Responsible for hiring and training Trains new team members.
- In collaboration with the team, identifies opportunities to improve the overall operation.
- Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of inventory, supply chain, warehouse, or facility maintenance experience.
- At least 1 year experience with commercial aviation logistics or equivalent experience relating to aircraft supply chain.
- Experience using an inventory management system.
- Previous experience with HAZ MAT shipping procedures
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to speak/read/write in English.
