This is a PART-TIME/TEMP/POSSIBLE TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 7:30am-4:30PM, Monday through Thursday, located in Virginia Beach, VA (23454).Responsibilities:A Day in the life of a Medical Assistant:As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for efficient patient flow to include rooming patients, collecting vitals, medication reconciliation,, data entry, chief complaint, patient education, setting up rooms, sterilization (pre and post procedure), and any other duties as assigned by the clinical manager.Requirements for the Medical Assistant:

• Required: medical assistant diploma
• Required: medical terminology knowledge
• Required: BLS
• Required: HIPAA Trained
• Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
• Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
• Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:

• Preferred: CMA or RMA
• Preferred: Dermatology experience is preferred
• Preferred: Clinic setting preferred

Benefits:

• $16.00-$17.00 an hour (depending on experience level)
