Sounds simple, but we love it.Your Opportunity:Chewy Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Graduate Intern to join our dynamic veterinary pharmacy team in Pittston, PA. This position provides recent 2025 pharmacy graduates with hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environment while working under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.This role is designed to transition into a full-time Pharmacist position upon successful completion of licensure requirements and proven performance of the responsibilities of the Pharmacy Graduate Intern role. As a Pharmacy Graduate Intern, you will gain specialized experience in veterinary medication dispensing, prescription verification, and regulatory compliance for pet prescriptions. You will work closely with pharmacists and veterinary professionals to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment and excellent customer service for pet parents and veterinarians.What You'll Do:
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing, and verification of prescription medications.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist veterinary professionals with prescription inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
  • Support pharmacy workflow efficiency, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Participate in training programs designed to enhance knowledge of pharmacy operations, compounding procedures, and medication safety.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of ethical and professional conduct.
What You'll Need:
  • PharmD graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Eligible for timely Pharmacist Intern licensure as required by the respective state.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
Employment Condition:
  • Failure to acquire the required Pharmacist licensure within 90 days of start date will be subject to business review and could result in separation of employment.
