Web3 Engineering Manager & Tech Lead

We are looking for a seasoned and visionary Web3 Engineering Manager & Tech Lead to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of decentralized applications and blockchain infrastructure. This hybrid role demands a unique blend of technical leadership and people management, ideally suited for someone passionate about building in the evolving Web3 space.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
- Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
- Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
- Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV etc.)
- Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
- Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned
- Design and implement successful marketing campaigns
- Set up tracking systems for online marketing activities
- Track progress with Marketing Managers and/or Marketing Specialists
- Identify and analyze competitors
- Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing sales data
- Collaborate with the design department to produce promotional materials
- Organize promotional activities for new products/services
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Deep expertise in blockchain technologies including smart contract development (Solidity, Vyper), Ethereum (or other EVM-compatible chains), and DeFi protocols.
- Proficiency with development tools such as Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle; and familiarity with off-chain integrations via oracles and APIs.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Rust, or Go.
- Solid grasp of distributed systems, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic principles.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to lead teams through ambiguity and deliver robust solutions in fast-paced environments.
- Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
- Experience leading remote or globally distributed engineering teams.
- Familiarity with zero-knowledge proofs, cross-chain interoperability, or wallet infrastructure.
