Telecommute Medical Support Chat Agent

Eagle Home Health is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Virtual or Office Medical Support Chat Agent. As a Medical Support Chat Agent, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and healthcare providers. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility of working either virtually or in our office. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide professional and compassionate chat support to patients and healthcare providers
• Ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries regarding medical services and appointments
• Communicate with patients to collect necessary medical information
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to schedule appointments and facilitate care coordination
• Monitor and respond to chat queues in a timely manner
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members for resolution
• Maintain accurate records of chat interactions within our system
• Adhere to all regulations and HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Proficient with technology, including chat platforms and medical software
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records
• Compassionate and able to provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
