We're hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team and support our commitment to high-quality patient care. As LPN, you will deliver personalized nursing care under the supervision of an RN, using recognized techniques and standards. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team and further develop your clinical skills. Shift Options:
- Full-time: 3 x 12-hour shifts (7-7:30)
- Part-time: 2 x 12-hour shifts (7-7:30)
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications in line with Safe Nursing Practice standards, per physician orders.
- Educate patients about medications, document responses, and report any abnormalities to an RN or physician.
- Maintain accurate records of patient activities, including admissions, discharges, transfers, and emergency visits.
- Track patient progress in detox and document responses.
- Communicate patient progress with the treatment team and report abnormalities.
- Conduct withdrawal assessments and record vital signs based on treatment plans.
- Collect data for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives, including census, risk management, and incident reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Valid NY State Nursing License and Registration.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with addiction treatment experience preferred.
Skills:
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with good time management skills.
