CASHIER/RECEPTION

A prestigious Automotive Dealership NISSAN OF STATEN ISLAND is looking to add FULL TIME Receptionist / CASHIER to their fast paced growing team!! The Greeter/Receptionist is responsible for meeting and greeting customers as they enter the dealership.
- Present a professional appearance and a cordial, businesslike presence, positive first impression of the dealership.
- The Greeter/Receptionist projects this same presence on the phone when customers call the dealership.

- Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Meet and greet customers with courtesy and efficiency
- Ability to make a friendly and appropriate appearance, as the initial contact with the dealership
- Ability to engage customers, to find out their needs, and to appropriately route them within the dealership
- Knowledge of appropriate telephone techniques and etiquette
- Ability to answer customers' questions on the phone or to refer callers to the appropriate department
- Knowledge of dealership organization in order to appropriately route callers or customers
- Ability to write clearly and legibly, and to listen and record accurately
- Ability to file paperwork according to dealership procedures

Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and interpersonal relations
- Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
- Experience in retail sales and stocking merchandise
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail math
- Organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in a grocery store environment
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Supervisory experience is advantageous
