Designer/Art Director

We specialize in engineering digital experiences that activate brands and people. We’re looking for a Freelance Designer / Art Director who is passionate about design and technology to join our creative team. This role would be on an ongoing, monthly basis. You will be working with one of our largest clients in the entertainment industry. You’ll be responsible for a wide variety of projects across print, digital and video — ensuring that visual communication standards are met across all channels. Projects include print marketing campaigns, e-commerce experiences, web and mobile apps, pitch decks, and research and applying best practices to all designs. You’ll be creating meaningful, intuitive experiences for our users across multiple platforms and channels through wireframing, mapping user flows and navigation, developing micro-interactions, prototyping and testing.

- Ensure brand standards across color, font, production quality and more
- Determine how best to represent a concept visually
- Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use
- Develop the overall look or style of a layout for a marketing campaign or digital product
- Proficiency in preparing design files for digital and print media
- QA mobile apps for accuracy and usability
Qualifications
- 5+ years design experience
- You have an online portfolio demonstrating a strong sense of visual hierarchy, color, typography, and layout
- You are proficient with current design software (including Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma) with a willingness to learn new tools
- Able to design a variety of materials within a highly defined brand look and feel
- You continually innovate and improve on the agency processes
- Able to adapt to project changes through optimization of workflow
- Critical eye for high level of detail and commitment to quality
- Able to work efficiently under pressure and tight deadlines, always aware of budgets and time spent
- Highly collaborative, cross-functional and capable of pivoting your approach to get to the best collective outcome
Contract Details
- Freelance / Independent Contractor role
- Up to 20 hours per week based on project load
- Fully remote with flexible scheduling
