Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate position at Savers is crucial for the smooth functioning of warehouse activities on a daily basis. Duties include aiding drivers in unloading donated items, arranging goods, documenting weights of products, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the warehouse. Additionally, responsibilities encompass loading trucks, managing inventory records, and guaranteeing adherence to safety protocols. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Help drivers with transferring donations onto carts within the warehouse.
• Categorize donations based on type, such as soft items, hard items, oversized goods, and furniture.
• Measure the carts' weight and document precise product measurements.
• Place and store filled carts in specified warehouse locations.
• Thoroughly fill out all necessary documentation for routes, such as verifying truck weights and submitting delivery logs.
• Follow the outlined Savers directives when loading trailers and monitor the weights of products as they are being loaded.
• Aid in the regular inventory checks and inputting of data to maintain accurate stock records.
• To uphold safety standards, it is essential to keep aisles and walkways clear of any clutter and dirt.
• Utilize a calculator to modify tare weights and calculate the net weights of items.
• Conduct regular safety inspections on forklifts to adhere to both company guidelines and state mandates.
• Provide support in the process of loading and unloading trucks for store relocations.
• Undertake extra tasks as required, such as maintaining the cleanliness of the office and restroom facilities.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
• Previous familiarity with warehouse or logistics operations is advantageous.
• Regularly lifting and transporting heavy objects is required.
• A high level of focus on precise details and ensuring the accuracy of recorded information.
• Fundamental mathematical abilities essential for determining weights and monitoring stock levels.
• Demonstrating adherence to safety procedures and upholding cleanliness standards in the workplace.
