Position Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Cybersecurity Tools and Techniques Trainer [Level 1] to design and deliver high-quality video lectures. The course will focus on foundational cybersecurity concepts, tools, and techniques, aimed at beginners. The instructor will commit 2 hours per day to content creation, including recording and editing videos. The course will be posted on YouTube, with the instructor receiving a one-time revenue share based on the total earnings generated over the first year of the course’s release.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Cybersecurity Tools and Techniques video lectures for beginners, covering essential tools and techniques used in the field of cybersecurity.
• Topics may include network security, firewalls, encryption, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, incident response, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Provide hands-on demonstrations using commonly used cybersecurity tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit, and others.
• Dedicate 2 hours per day to content creation, including planning, recording, and editing high-quality video lectures.
• Design practical assignments and quizzes to reinforce learning and ensure students can apply what they have learned.
• Regularly update course content to reflect the latest developments in cybersecurity practices, tools, and techniques.
• Collaborate with the Mastering Up team to ensure the course meets platform guidelines and caters to beginner-level learners.

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity tools and techniques, with hands-on experience in the field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Practical experience with commonly used cybersecurity tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit, and vulnerability scanners.
• Ability to explain complex cybersecurity concepts clearly and concisely for beginner-level learners.
• Previous experience in creating educational content (preferably in video format) or delivering training.
• Strong understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts such as risk management, threat analysis, and network defense.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar.
• Previous teaching experience, especially in online environments.
• Experience with penetration testing, incident response, or network security monitoring.
• Contributions to the cybersecurity community through blogs, articles, or open-source projects.

• Compensation Structure: This position follows a revenue-sharing model, where the instructor will receive a one-time payment based on the revenue generated by the course over the first year.
