Director/Principal Level, Legal Recruiter (Remote)
As a Director/Principal, Legal Recruiter, you will have the opportunity to work a flexible desk covering law firm and in house placements within a large territorial range facing limited restrictions but receiving top of the market compensation and resources. Unlike most legal search firms stateside and abroad, Lateral Link has no ceiling for advancement within a flat organization but rather offers real upward mobility for those hungry to succeed in legal recruiting as a lifelong career. Founded by Harvard Law School alumni and former practicing attorneys with a vision to lead and not follow, Lateral Link helped to legitimize the legal recruiting industry as a peer with our clients and candidates (as opposed to a vendor) almost twenty years ago. From working on associate placements at regional firms to more senior counsel positions with the Am Law 5 firms as well as single partners at the Am Law 200 to major eight figure group placements that are newsworthy, our team excels at the top of the market in all verticals across various levels. Our compensation is above market with a 50-70% ratcheted up commission structure which starts at 60% for NYC placements. In addition, our compensation package includes year-end discretionary performance bonuses up to 15%, plus annual discretionary Principal-level bonuses, resulting in an effective all-in commission package that is almost 50% more than that of our largest competitor. - JD, Top Am Law 25 Law School with relevant prior Biglaw experience; or
- Demonstrable success at a competing legal search firm with a proven candidate placement history; plus
