Sr Product Manager, Client Group Virta Health is on a mission to reverse Type 2 diabetes and obesity. Current treatment approaches aren’t working—over half of US adults have either type 2 diabetes or obesity. Virta is changing this by helping people reverse type 2 diabetes and obesity through innovations in technology, personalized nutrition, and virtual care delivery reinvented from the ground up. We have raised over $350 million from top-tier investors, and partner with the largest health plans, employers, and government organizations to help their employees and members restore their health and live diabetes-free. The Senior Product Manager in our Client Group is a strategic role that sits at the core of Virta’s ability to scale. You’ll design, build, and evolve the data services, tools, and experiences that enable our clients and internal teams to launch, manage, and grow with excellence. You’ll work across a wide range of complex workflows—from eligibility ingestion and claims processing to marketing campaigns and compliance reporting. Your work will power the day-to-day operations of Virta’s Customer Success, Sales, Implementation, and Finance teams—and deliver value directly to the clients who depend on us. You will manage the direction and execution of a cross functional product development team, and play a critical role in setting company-wide strategy. You’ll partner with your team Engineering, Data, Design along with your stakeholders Customer Success, Implementation and Sales to build intuitive, scalable, and cutting-edge tools, leveraging AI to further drive efficiencies. If you’re motivated by complexity, energized by data, and passionate about building scalable systems that drive meaningful impact, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap that enables Virta to efficiently serve and grow with hundreds of clients across diverse segments.
  • Build tools and workflows for cross-functional internal teams (Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, Finance, and Clinical Operations) that allow them to launch and support clients with speed and confidence.
  • Own core operational data systems—from Client CRM, eligibility ingestion to prior authorization to claims—to ensure seamless integration across client and Virta’s internal systems.
  • Leverage AI and automation to improve productivity, optimize workflows, and reduce errors and manual tasks.
  • Deliver Reporting-as-a-Product, creating scalable dashboards and custom outputs that meet the needs of both internal teams and external clients.
  • Design for scale by building capabilities and setting data standards within internal teams that reduce manual overhead and streamline service delivery.
  • Collaborate deeply with stakeholders across Engineering, Data, Design, and Operations to turn complex challenges into elegant, usable, and impactful solutions.

You’ll be great for this role if you:

  • You have 7+ years of experience in a product management, or related product development role.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity driving 0 to 1 product development.
  • You’ve tackled data interoperability or integration initiatives. You’ll need to understand APIs, FHIR standards, Eligibility and Claims data to write product specs that translate business requirements to technical specs.
  • You enjoy solving data problems and how data can be leveraged across systems.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Experience shipping consumer-facing applications with a focus on behavior change is a plus
  • Experience working with AI products in a consumer application is a plus

Values-driven culture Virta’s company values drive our culture, so you’ll do well if:

  • You put people first and take care of yourself, your peers, and our patients equally
  • You have a strong sense of ownership and take initiative while empowering others to do the same
  • You prioritize positive impact over busy work
  • You have no ego and understand that everyone has something to bring to the table regardless of experience
  • You appreciate transparency and promote trust and empowerment through open access of information
