Position Summary We are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join our Digital Team. Reporting to the Senior Ecommerce Manager, the Ecommerce Intern will assist in website support, merchandising, sales reporting, and growth initiatives related to Westman-Atelier.com. This role offers hands-on experience across a wide range of ecommerce functions, including product launches, website merchandising, content updates, and performance tracking. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Ecommerce Senior Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business success. Through this internship, the individual will be exposed to the many aspects of e-commerce: sales KPIs, merchandising, website analytics, product management, trade marketing, and customer behavior. You’ll be involved in supporting the preparation of go-to-market product launches, assisting with website audits, and helping maintain the flow of digital content on our ecommerce platforms. You’ll also gain valuable insights into how we analyze and optimize site performance, helping to shape strategies that enhance the user experience and drive growth. Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Ecommerce Senior Manager to support website merchandising, content updates, and day-to-day site operations
  • Conduct regular website audits across product pages, imagery, SEO, and overall user experience
  • Assist with go-to-market product launches by supporting asset briefs, building product detail pages (PDPs) & launch content on Shopify, and post-launch performance tracking
  • Contribute to special projects across customer care, loyalty programs, and digital marketing initiatives
  • Monitor ecommerce trends and competitor activity to help inform digital strategy
  • Assist in pulling and organizing reports related to site traffic, conversion rates, and sales performance
  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly sales performance decks by gathering data, analyzing key metrics, and highlighting insights for team review

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Shopify or relevant CMS experience preferred and interest in learning ecommerce tools and technologies
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or familiarity with analytics tools
  • Creative mindset and an eye for design to support content ideation and merchandising tasks
  • Goal-driven with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation
