About the position The Technical Customer Support representative at Ring is responsible for delivering timely and professional technical support to customers. This role focuses on resolving customer issues, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring account security. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with strong communication skills, capable of handling various customer interactions and advocating for customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Providing prompt, efficient, detailed service by engaging directly with Ring's customers

  • Being a voice and advocate for our customers when something doesn't feel right

,

  • Working with customers to understand how they use Ring products to resolve their issues and maximize their investments

,

  • Acting as an advocate for our customers by reporting and acting on observed areas for improvement

,

  • Actively seeking solutions to customer needs, communicating trends to leadership, and suggesting innovative solutions on behalf of the customer experience

,

  • Assisting with customer communication and troubleshooting during Ring product launches

,

  • Working across the customer support spectrum to ensure a consistent and highest-quality level of support

,

  • Developing detailed knowledge about specific product lines and features

,

  • Handling various contact types including Chat, Email, Inbound and Outbound voice calls with customers

Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer service experience

,

  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

,

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate's degree

,

  • 1+ years of customer service experience
