Our growing firm is looking for a Bookkeeper to deliver top-notch bookkeeping and accounting services in QuickBooks for our clients. This position will start at 15-20 hours per week and $18 per hour but become full-time and $20 per hour as soon as full proficiency has been demonstrated. Successful candidates must be able to perform a wide variety of bookkeeping tasks within QuickBooks, including ? Generating a vendor payable by using bill pay, writing a check, and paying by credit card. ? Adjusting journal entries, reconcile bank and credit card accounts, and do transfers between internal accounts. ? Creating an invoice, generate a credit memo, and record payment on an invoice. ? Creating loan payable account and record payments on the account. Please note that candidates will be asked to demonstrate these and other QuickBooks skills to the Hiring Manager during the virtual interview process. Required Skills and Abilities: ? Problem Solver: Demonstrate proficiency in solving complex problems with accuracy and skill. ? Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and preferably, Microsoft Teams. ? Collaboration: Work collaboratively with diverse teams and clients, demonstrating excellent organizational, logic, and math skills and a fluency with English verbal and written communication. Education and Experience: ? High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a relevant field is preferred. ? At least 3 years of previous bookkeeping experience in QuickBooks. Physical Requirements: ? Ability to work on a computer for up to eight hours a day. ? Full vision to accurately read small alphanumeric print for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals to perform essential functions. Other Requirements: ?
